Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help?

That can happen. The right approach and the right fit matter—therapy can feel very different with a new therapist or method.

Where are you located?

In the comfort of your home or office. Currently, I only offer sessions online.

How do I know if I'm experiencing trauma?

If disturbing memories pop into your mind out of nowhere

If you think negatively about yourself

If you have trouble trusting others or yourself

If you feel disconnected, even when you are around people

Trauma doesn’t always come from one major event—it can also build over time through repeated stress, emotional wounds, or difficult relationships.

How long are sessions?

50 minutes

What happens at the first session?

The first session is a chance to get to know each other. You’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your goals, and ask any questions you have. It’s a low-pressure conversation.

How much does therapy cost? Do you take insurance?

Individual sessions are $175

I currently accept Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH.

For out of network, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.

How do I get started?
You can schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation or reach out through the contact form. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session.
