About me

Amanda Harmon, LPCC
My background includes extensive training in trauma-informed care. I attained my Master of Science from Grand Canyon University, and I am licensed in both Arizona and California. I am an EMDRIA approved Certified EMDR provider and am currently pursuing EMDR Consultant status.
When I'm not working, you'll find me camping, spending time with my family, or curled up with a good book. I believe therapy should feel human, warm, and real – because that's what makes change possible.
I offer real approaches to real challenges
Healing is possible, and meaningful progress can happen when people feel supported, understood, and empowered in the therapeutic process.
My work as a therapist is grounded in that belief. My approach to therapy is both compassionate and collaborative. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I believe each person deserves care that honors their unique story, strengths, and goals.
My goal is to help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward lasting change – where healing is possible, and progress is tangible
“We weren’t created to do life alone; we’re wired for connection, support, and shared strength.”
Here are Real people seeing Real changes
"So, I started searching for someone in my area. It was the hardest call I had ever made to admit I was feeling doomed and out of control at this stage of my life. That call changed and saved my life. I now have boundaries and am still working on that weak area. I now have clarity, calmness, and know how to STOP THE INSANITY." – Connie.
"I found that EMDR began to provide some symptom relief almost immediately, which truly surprised me." – Debbie.
"I can actually see amazing progress in my mental health, my self-confidence, and my perception of myself, others, and the circumstances around me." – Cara.
"I have been able to clear many debilitating patterns that were holding me back from being able to live a normal, happy life." – Michelle.
