About me

Amanda Harmon, LPCC
My background includes extensive training in trauma-informed care. I attained my Master of Science from Grand Canyon University, and I am licensed in both Arizona and California. I am an EMDRIA approved Certified EMDR provider and am currently pursuing EMDR Consultant status.
When I'm not working, you'll find me camping, spending time with my family, or curled up with a good book. I believe therapy should feel human, warm, and real – because that's what makes change possible.
Here are Real people seeing Real changes
"Amanda is my perfect match therapist! I came to her after years of talk therapy that just wasn't cutting it. I needed a therapist to give me tools and solutions, not just someone to talk to. Amanda is an incredible talk therapist because she gives you solutions and tools to help yourself beyond your sessions. Not only that, but she is also an incredible EMDR therapist." - M.M.
"Because of Amanda, I am a stronger woman, a more present mother, a more grounded wife, and a more confident business owner. The work we’ve done together has helped me heal from the abuse I endured earlier in my life and step fully into the person I was always meant to be. I’m forever grateful for her compassion, patience, and skill.
If you’re ready to take your healing seriously and want someone who truly gets it, Amanda is the therapist you’ve been searching for." - E.Y.
"I am blessed to have found Amanda as a therapist. Her support through EMDR the past three years has changed my life; working with her has improved my inner and outer world in ways I never thought were possible. She is amazing at what she does -- her compassion and honest insight make her truly stand apart from the rest. With Amanda, you are in the best of hands to work through trauma and heal. She has been a cheerleader and an invaluable support system for me." - H.Z.
I offer real approaches to real challenges
Healing is possible, and meaningful progress can happen when people feel supported, understood, and empowered in the therapeutic process.
My work as a therapist is grounded in that belief. My approach to therapy is both compassionate and collaborative. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I believe each person deserves care that honors their unique story, strengths, and goals.
My goal is to help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward lasting change – where healing is possible, and progress is tangible
“We weren’t created to do life alone; we’re wired for connection, support, and shared strength.”
